He Survived So She Could Thrive

Set against the haunting backdrop of the Holocaust, Elke is a deeply moving tale of resilience, hope, and healing. It tells the story of two vastly different worlds—her father, a Holocaust survivor haunted by unimaginable loss, and her mother, a German Catholic grappling with the shame of her nation’s sins. Bound together by love, they defy history to raise a child who becomes a bridge between their fractured pasts.

Through young Elke’s courage and wisdom, this film explores the transformative power of love, the strength to confront generational trauma, and the enduring hope that binds us all. Elke is not just a historical tale—it’s a timeless story of unity, redemption, and the human spirit’s triumph over hate.
